Rivers Want to Wiggle

The Estonian Fund for Nature (ELF) commissioned me to produce a video on the importance of the meandering of streams and rivers, in collaboration with the freshwater ecology expert Jürgen Karvak. The video was filmed on a conservation holiday event in September 2023 where ELF’s volunteers built wooden arches into the straightened river Jänijõgi, in order to help create a more diverse river channel.

Jõed tahavad loogelda

Eestimaa Looduse Fondi (ELF) eestvedamisel, koostöös magevee-elustiku ekspert Jürgen Karvakuga, valmis video jõgede ja ojade looklemise tähtsusest Jänijõe näitel. Video on filmitud 2023. aasta septembris ELFi Jänijõe talgutel, mille käigus ehitasid ELFi vabatahtlikud ajalooliselt sirgeks kaevatud jõkke puidust paunasid, aidates nii jõe voolul end ise mitmekesisemaks muuta.
